Mboin Komtangi Cousin August 28, 2015

Grand Frere. Words alone cannot express how I feel. We will miss you dearly.
Evan still prays for you every night before he goes to bed. He says Uncle Vincent has gone to the doctor.
I can still picture you cracking up when you asked Evan what he was eating and he said "bittee kalola" meaning bitter kola.
Thanks for being you, one of a kind.
Adios Big Bro, until we meet again.
RIP.

Brother Vincent “Sante” as we all call you, you will forever be missed. I can picture that smile on your face and remember how you often say “maa sah”during a conversation. God has a purpose for every situation. You were a kind and gentle soul. The Angels are lucky to have you as one of them. You will always remain in her hearts. For those you have left behind, “We must learn to live on the heavenly side and look at things from above. To contemplate all things as God sees them, as Christ beholds them, overcomes sin, defies Satan, dissolves perplexities, lifts us above trials, separates us from the world and conquers fear of death.” You fought the fight and won the race.

Brother Vincent, we bide you Goodnight, Goodnight until we meet again in Glory.

RIP.

My mishie and Prof, when God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust HIM fully and let go. Only one of two things will happen: either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly.

I remember vividly the day I walked into your Chemistry class wearing my leather sandals like slippers, and raised the collar of my white shirt to show off. My classmates yelled,' l'homme, I'homme, my yang, my yang".Mr. Vincent Che did not yank me out of class, but smiled showing his wide gaped tooth, and continued teaching. At the end of that class, he siad quietly " Abegly, lets have some talk outside!". Outside, Mr. Vincent in a quiet voice told me he knows my parents and background, next he told me to wear my sandals the right way and to put down the collar of my shirt. He told me ,you look good now and are valuable. he further explained that I should never let some else's opinion determine my worth. He further explained that my value and worth are not in what I do,BUT in who I am in CHRIST. Yes, I made a round about turn since that day, and i no longer felt that I had to perform for other people. No per pressure influence me there after. The memories of your gentle and non-authoritative disposition remain ineffacebly stamped on my mind and you remain my true hero. There are many rooms in the Lords'mansion and HE has one reserved for just for you.For the rest of your family, Mishie who mourn, I humbly ask them to remmember that the Bible reminds us that those who mourn shall be comforted. One thing is certain, you have gone ahead to prepare a better place for us all.
Martin Abegly
